Case Histories
Case History # 9:
Patient: 29 years old, Female, Caucasian
Major Complaint:
Burning sensation during urination
The
patient had nagging, uncomfortable sensations around her
vulva area which got worse when she was urinating. Her gynecologist
suspected a vaginitis and gave her a medication which did
make a small improvement. She made another visit to her
urologist and received a medication for an interstitial cystitis.
The medication helped to decrease burning sensations but
overall discomfort around her vaginal track remained. She
was not sexually active.
Diagnosis and Treatment
The
patient was confirmed as a fire major constitution. To get
rid of micro-organisms from the body, we must correct more
than two organ's disharmonies. Use of antibiotics in cases
like this will damage PH balance inside the vagina, which
results in candida syndrome. It is best not to use antibiotics
or antifungal medicine in this case. Kidney, small intestine
and heart must be harmonized.
Treatment
Step 1:
Promote kidney
four times
Reduce small intestine two times
Step
2:
Promote kidney four times
Reduce heart two
times
Treatment Results
After
two treatments with Step 1 formula, she was able to urinate
without any discomfort. The third treatment was done
with step 2 formula. We have not yet heard back from her
on her progress.
Note:
I think 8 Constitution acupuncture is the best way to deal
with bacterial or viral infections in their beginning states.
Our bodies must be instructed how to get rid of harmful
micro-organisms by acupuncture, without depending on drugs.
