Case Histories
Case History # 12:
Patient: 46 years old, Female, Caucasian
Major Complaint:
Migraine headache
The patient
has been suffering from chronic migraine headaches ever
since her first period in her puberty. For more than 30 years she has been relying on over the counter drugs to
edge out the pain almost every other day. Symptoms include
a very sharp penetrating pain behind the eyes and photophobia.
Nausea was not bad at all in this case.
Diagnosis and Treatment
The
patient was confirmed as a wood minor constitution. Although
standard American foods are very compatible with people
with this constitution, they are highly vulnerable to stresses
more so than people with other constitutions. For a migraine
headache, lung and liver must be harmonized.
Promote
lungs five
times
Reduce liver 1 time
All
in one session, 2 treatments a week.
Treatment Results
Two treatments
a week for about two months was all it took for her to become
completely better.
Dietary Consultation
She
was advised to eat lots of beef and soy products in order
to increase her stress tolerance level. Frequent hot saunas
with profuse sweating will also help to strengthen her nervous
system.
